For many people, one of the biggest challenges as an adult is learning how to live within your means. This means affording everything you need and want while still putting some money away each month for retirement or an emergency situation. This can be an extremely difficult task for many people, as indicated by the prevalence of credit card debt and unpaid loans.
But many people fall into the trap of thinking that earning more will solve their money problems. This often isn’t the case, because if you have more, you will spend more. Unless you learn how to manage your existing income, you’ll never learn how to build wealth. Once you learn responsible spending, though, you’ll actually know how to responsibly and effectively use a greater income.
